Cats In Need of Human Care is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer cat rescue/adoption organization.  We have about 12 community-based chapters throughout Southern California.

The Diamond Bar Chapter has been doing adoptions at the PetSmart in Diamond Bar/Walnut since 1996.  Our adoption shows are held every Saturday and Sunday, 11am-5pm.  We have a great group of highly active and visible volunteers (about 25), and are governed by a hard-working Board of Directors.  We rescue about 100 cats and kittens each year.

We don't have a shelter, but are able to house up to 10 cats in the PetSmart Adoption Center.  The rest of our rescued cats live in foster homes.  Which means they live as part of a family for as long as it takes for them to get adopted.  They have a loving, safe place to stay while they are healing, growing or being socialized.  Our foster families work very hard, and we couldn't do what we do as a cat rescue group without them.

As a non-profit group, Cats In Need Diamond Bar relies on donations to help the cats in our community.  Before our cats get adopted they are spayed/neutered, blood tested for FeLV/FIV (Feline Leukemia/Feline AIDS), vaccinated, and treated for fleas and parasites.

6th Annual
Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction Fundraiser

Northminster Presbyterian Church
400 Rancheria Road, Diamond Bar, CA

Tickets are $10

This annual fundraiser helps us provide veterinary care for our rescued cats and kittens.

Before any of our rescued cats can be adopted, they must first be spayed or neutered, given shots, treated for fleas and parasites, and deemed healthy by our vet.  We use our regular donation sources to cover these everyday vet care costs.

However, a majority of the cats come to us sick or injured, and need to be taken care of right away.  In addition, a large number of them require extensive veterinary services.  This includes multiple surgeries, medications, prescription food, appointments with specialists, and trips to the emergency vet.  The money that this annual fundraiser helps us raise will cover a majority of those special demands for the year.

Showing your support will make a difference in the lives of so many cats in our community.  Thank you!
